To Bi Or Not To Bi?
Females being bisexual? Is this common? Oh, definitely.
For me it started when I was eleven.A friend and I were both just discovering the joys of masturbation and that we could enjoy this with each other as girls. Well, my mom caught the two of naked and doing it together on the bed in my room. My mom wasn’t exactly surprised and just said something like, “Oh, excuse me.” My mom had no problem with me doing things like that with other girls, which I am sure was far more preferable than me doing it with boys. Especially since I had such an obviously healthy sexual appetite. While I was growing up I had a string of bisexual love affairs and it was wonderful not having to hide this from my mom. Apparently she was not concerned about me becoming a lesbian, but saw it more realistically as just the type of things that young girls did and enjoyed together. My bisexual interest began to fade by the time I was in high school and I started to discover boys. Then I got married and did all of that.
Then, several years ago, at the age of thirty-eight, I was divorced. I found myself becoming re-acquainted with my bisexual side and now thoroughly enjoy having female relationships and, yes, sex. I never thought of myself as ever being a lesbian, and I really did not especially think of myself as being bisexual. That was just something I enjoyed. I think that it is like this for most women, and yes, that sort of thing between women is so much more common than people think and always has been. It is only when people over analyze and start trying to label it or try to turn it into some kind of a moral debate, is when there are problems.
So bisexaual?Iwould have to say happily so and no regrets or misplaced feelings of guilt. And while I may not be running down the street waving a sign proclaiming this, I am quite open about it and more and more women are becoming so.
