I have an asswhole neighbor that has a camera hidden in a bird house and he is watching my front door. What can I do?

Call a lawyer. What he's doing is an invasion of your privacy. I know because my crazy FIL had a camera trained on his neighbor's house. (they were stealing from him and he wanted to catch them redhanded) They can only have a camera trained on THEIR property. If someone comes on their property that's one thing, but they can't aim a camera at your front door and tape your comings and goings.

Presumably the birdhouse and camera are on his property. Make yourself a sign or get a political poster (prferably one for a candidate he doesn't like) and post it on your property so that it's the only thing the camera sees. Or if the camera is close to your property, water the hedges on your property line and accidentally spray the camera.
If it's an ongoing problem, you can probably use that fact to get permission from the town to put up a fence. You only need to put up a small portion - big enough to block the camera - and make the ugliest thing anyone's ever seen from his side.
Sadly, there's not much you can do about people watching what you do in public. It's wrong and you don't have to like it, but there it is.

I would get naked and flash the camera. Then take some dog poop and fling it at the camera. If that doesn't work...sleep with their spouce infront of the camera. Maybe even make it a point to walk by the camera everyday and flip it off. So that way your neighbor knows your on to him or her.

Legally if the camera is on his property then your front door is considered public domain. If the camera is aimed at the bedroom window, then there is a legal standpoint. Possibly your allegation the camera is pointed at your window would result in an investigation which would embarass the offender.
