Don't you ever get tired of complaining about neighbors.
Surely there is some middle ground between fuming silently whenever you hear your neighbors making noise in front of your domicile and spraying them with machine gun fire?
What's wrong with going outside and asking them to pipe down? I would guess that they're not aware of how loud they are, especially if they've been drinking. Alcohol seems to automatically turn up people's volume control.
I am not the original author of this post, but I can sympathize with the author. I have had a horrible experience with my neighbors over the past 2 years. They have very little education and have loud parties several nights a week. When I say loud, I am talking karaoke w/microphones, carrying on out on their back porch, etc. After asking them nicely to keep it down and getting ignored or told to "be a good neighbor" and tolerate it, I finally had to take them to court. In my city, there is a "livability court" specifically for these kinds of issues. They were fined on two different occasions for their repeated infractions ($200 and $460, respectively) and now they have a bench warrant, meaning that if the cops come to their house again for noise issues, they are going to jail! Since then, no major parties. God love the judicial system!
