What does Kim's mother accuse you of doing when she calls the state? Is it possible that you're acting in some way that someone could misunderstand? I don't doubt that she's a crappy mother or whatever, but before you go spouting off about her calling the state on you, think about why she might have thought as she did.

I bet your one of those trashy women who CLAIM to have a nice daycare but it's nothing but a run down ghetto house that you watch sick kids in. And I am willing to bet you that you have had complaints made against you more than once for not haveing a safe environment for those kids. Get a REAL job other than BABYSITTING. Do you get compensation from the STATE (welfare) for watching those kids??????

If you wasn't doing anything wrong then you have no problems with the state, but it sounds like you may not be.

Anonymous' logic is faulty, as is his/her grammar.
"If you wasn't doing anything wrong" What kind of grammar is that? It should be "If you weren't doing anything wrong."
The idea that only guilty people are investigated by Child Protective Services is absurd. By law, they are required to investigate any complaints they receive, no matter how unfounded.
You could run the best home-based childcare in your town and if someone wanted to make an anonymous complaint you would be investigated. That's a fact.
I can only conjecture what kind of ill-informed, spiteful, mentally deficient person would reply to your complaint in such a rude fashion. Ignore your neighbors and continue to provide good community-based chid care.

DAYECARE is used mostly by women who have had kids with no help from a man. Daycare is just basically in a nut shell kiddy prison. I HATE married couples who use daycare because they WANT things so both work. What ever happend to ONE parent actually staying home and raising their OWN damn child???? SO WHAT IF YOU CANT KEEP UP WITH THE JONES but aleast your child is raised by you. Have you ever been around kids who spend most of their time in daycare? Weird sad little children. Big differance in how a child behaves when raised by a parent. Im not knocking daycare because I know some single parents have no choice but most out there are just greedy and want THINGS. So both will work. SAD SAD SAD. And good for your neighbor turning you in. It had to be for good reasons. What dirty secrets are you hidding??? Shame on you if you are in the worng.

Daycare or preschool, if it is well run, is actually beneficial to children.
Instead of being "weird, sad" little children kids who are in daycare or preschool are actually more verbal, have better social skills and are generally more cognitively advanced than those of their age group who are kept home.
There is nothing wrong with both parents having careers. My husband and I both chose to work not to buy more consumer goods but because we loved our work. Work provides a sense of personal satisfaction and usefulness. My husband and I both have rewarding, very high-paying careers. Our children are happy and outstanding students and athletes. Their exposure to children from various cultures and backgrounds in nursery school was very enjoyable for them. We chose the schools they attended very carefully.
I have heard of some home-based daycare where the children are left to watch TV all day and fed unhealthy foods. i have never actually seen such a place but I assume they exist.
I would guess from the style of writing of the last poster that he or she works in a low-paying job and is not particularly well educated. Being able to say that his/her children were cared for at home by a stay-at-home spouse is probably one of the few sources of pride the poster has. I would argue that giving children a top-notch private education including college and graduate school will give them more opportunities in life. That's one of the reasons my husband and I both chose to work.
My children have travelled extensively in Europe and Asia. They have had many experiences that few children their age have. My eldest is completing his second year at an Ivy League university. We're proud to have been able to provide all that we have for our children. And yes, preschool was a wonderful experience for them.

Actually if my mis spelling bothers you then FUCK OFF. I how ever OWN a business and it has provided QUITE well for my family. And as far as what you were rambling on about both of you working WHAT A CROCK OF FUCKING SHIT!! I bet if your kids were asked if they would have perferd you or your spouce to raise them guess what the answer would be. I do live on a nice 6 figure income soon to be 7 and NO i dont nor have I EVER put my kids in DAYCARE. Kids DO NOT benifit being RAISED by OTHER people. You are full of horse shit you know it and wont admitt it. You are so into your OWN life that you have totaly scarificed your kids. At least MY KIDS know what it feels like to have mommy around at all times. And YEA my kids travel too. With US on FAMILY vacations that are NOT business related. So with that said at least I can go to bed ever night knowing that I AM A GOOD PARENT and not a selfish one like YOU.

"DAYECARE is used mostly by women who have had kids with no help from a man."

So day care is popular among the immaculate conception set? Are you saying that Jesus spent time in day care? If it's good enough for Jesus, I guess it's good enough for my kids.

Why would you think that someone pointing out that you might have brought this on yourself is as low class as you appear to be?

I'm getting the impression from your postings that Kim is probably right about you.

Wow - soon to be 7 digits? Is turning tricks that lucrative? Sorry, I forgot that you're stupid. "Lucrative" means profitable, which means you can make a lot of money doing it.

Somehow, I don't believe that someone with your attitude could run a business without scaring away any customers. Nope, I think this is BS.

Lucky them, to have such a lovely mommy around all the time. There are psychiatric meds that can help with those flare-ups of rage you're experiencing.
There is, however, nothing that can be done about your lack of education and inability to express yourself in a coherent fashion.
Here's a tip: Try typing without engaging the caps lock key. It makes you seem like less of a loon.

I love this site. It's wrong of me, I know, but I can't help it.
I picture the furious, obese, greasy-haired woman who authored the above anti-daycare rants, stuffing Devil Dogs in her face as she sits on a battered sofa in a dingy living room watching Dr. Phil on "the tee-vee."
She pauses every so often to tug at the horribly tight elastic waistband of her food-stained sweatpants as she screams at her children playing outside: "Yew stay outta the road, yew hear me? An quit pokin' at that dead cat with a stick! It's not sanni-terry!"
With a grunt of satisfaction she leans back and takes a big swig of soda. She is contemplating the joys of the stay-at-home life (sitting around all day in sweatpants and not having to answer to a snotty, college-educated boss who makes her feel stupid predominates her list of joys). Then the phone rings. It's her :business line.
Setting down the soda, she belches loudly and wipes her greasy lips. Then, in a sultry voice, she answers the phone.
"Hi! This is Kelsi! I'm just sitting here at the sorority house studying for finals and wearing nothing but a thong. What's your fantasy, honey?"
Ah, the joys of the successful businesswoman!

Great plan keep your little future convicts home with you so they can learn to be just as dumb as you.
