I live in a very small, very quiet apartment community. Most people who live here are very conciderate of their neighbors, as we all know that the walls are thin. I, on the other hand, have not been lucky enough to have neighbors like everyone else. About 3 months ago, a group of very young guys moved in right next door. As soon as they moved in their stuff, they threw a very loud party. Beer bottles, trash, cigarette butts, and passed out partiers were everywhere. We share an entrance way to our respective homes and I couldn't even get to my doorstep without stepping over one of the items above. At first, I shrugged it off as a housewarming party and hoped that behavior of that kind wasn't a daily issue. I was wrong. I've been bombarded daily with LOUD horrible music, bands like Blink 182 and all that icky fake punk rawk stuff. They've cleaned up the beer and trash, but still are very loud. So, I've turned into the manager's favorite little tenant and I've been documenting every possible lease violation, from loud music after 10 pm, marijuana smoking, and fighting, as well as lame stuff like dead plants on the patio to charcoal bbq use (all no no's in this community)and reported it to the manager. One more infraction and they'll be out on the streets!!

I suppose it's a variation on Punk Rock.

f y i , blink 182 are a very good band, think that you are a judgemental snob because these people have a different taste in music to you, open your mind, and maybee you might get a few more friends who are not snobs, like you

I think the point is that they are loud. If they are elderly and deaf and listen to Lawrence Welk too loudly and totter along the hallways stopping every two steps to catch their breath and insist on long pointless conversations it is still annoying.
Frat house behavior belongs in the frat house and the elderly belong in communities composed of their peers.
I blame greedy or desperate owners (or managment) for these kind of problems.
Keep complaining. Life is too short to be forced to endure someone else's lifestyle against your will.

I say you have your own little party, invite your local Hells Angles Chapter over for free beer and BBQ and let the good times roll.. if the little fukkers act up the HA's will beat them all - about the head and neck area ofcourse..
