Our neighbor is this guy who is the definition of LOUD. He talks loud, plays his music loud, his kids are loud, his car is loud because of his stereo and whatever it is that the guys are doing to their cars to make their engines loud, and his pets are loud. But the thing about him is that he HATES the wild birds that are all around our neighborhood because they make too much noise!! We have cardinals, pigeons, these black birds with red butts that are really noisy, wild chickens, and we even have peacocks (ever hear a peacock wail at night?). He gets so irritated with them that he's always spraying them with water to get them off his roof and yard.
Because he just ignores all of us when we ask him to lower the volume on his stereos or to tone down his parties at 4 a.m., etc. a bunch of the neighbors got together and when we would go out walking or whatever, we'd make sure he wasn't home and would throw bird seed all over his yard and on his roof. The great thing about the bird seed is that he can't see it but the birds can and every day it's a buffet for them on his lawn and roof!! It was so funny to see all these birds eating and making all kinds of noises on his yard. He would spray them with water but they'd fly away and come back for more feed. He must've spent some bucks on his water bill this month and I know it's kinda childish of us but we just couldn't resist.
