I have THE neighbor from hell. From the day we came to look he was up our ass.Telling us how the land floods, the other neighbor will shoot your dog.Well we knew he was up to But because every thing else was perfect we decided we could learn to ignore them...WELL it started with thier dog comming into our yard and attacking my dog.As I was trying to get it away from my dog it bit me.Oh boy they went physco when I asked for rabies info.I called animal control..you can guess.Things have come to him pointing a gun at me,and now we are going to court over it.....But I digress......
so back to the baby monitor. We have been picking up thier baby monitor for the past year.We have called and changed pizza orders, uesd a 10 dollar mistake from the pizza place when they called bitching they got 10 off the next one.So we called in as them a few days later and got 10 off. we have made a tape of them doing it and mailed it to the kids school.we found out they haven't done taxes in over 5 years (he gets paid cash...so IRS was informed..oh boy I'll tell you this has really been a fun year..but a few weeks ago they stoped useing it.But it was the best entertainment, and feeling of revenge .We even heard their credit card #s and ebay info.If we wanted we could order stuff on ebay and they would have to pay.....BUT we are not THAT evil..playing with their minds was fun enough...
go get a police scanner and look in the 40's..if you are lucky you might pick up your neighbors baby monitor.
Oh yea you should of seen his face when I said why did you stop using the baby monitor?? I wonder if he ever figured it out,he is rather dumb...

Does he have a PC?
Does he read the posts on this site?

If the answer to these are both yes you had better move quickly before he pulls the trigger on that shotgun!

Based on all the things you have supplied, I have come to the conclusion that you are the one thats the evil neighbor that many people have to deal with in their life.

Play your loud crap up in the mountains where no one will hear or care about you. Jerk!

Hmmmmmmmm, which came first, the dog assault and the ensuing(?) reckless endangerment (apparently incorporating some extenuating firearms issues) or the monkeyshines involving the baby monitor?

"Assault" implies that you were seriously injured by the dog attack. In some municipalities and states, this usually entails a charge of Second degree assault:
"Under circumstances evincing a depraved indifference to human life, the reckless engagement (such as allowing a dog to run at large) in conduct which creates a grave risk of death or injury to another person, and thereby causes serious physical injury to another person..."(Italics and parenthetical notation mine.)

Second degree assault is a class B felony.
Basically, First degree assault is differentiated from Second degree assault in establishing intent.

Regarding the "assult with a deadly weapon", you apparently weren't physically injured in the encounter (as you correctly observe, we know "nothing" about the incident - except what you have related in your message) - so it is difficult to understand how this rises to the occasion of a charge of "assault" - legally, your neighbor's actions might be prosecutable under reckless endangerment:
"A person is guilty of reckless endangerment in the first degree when, under circumstances evincing a depraved indifference to human life, he recklessly engages in conduct which creates a grave risk of death to another person."(Italics mine.)

Reckless endangerment in the first degree is a class D felony.

- With some weapons issues notwithstanding....

Beyond whatever happens with the court proceedings - (you should be able to get a restraining order) - it might be a good idea to stop antagonizing these people.

as the first post said.when I needed rabies info they had none so they got pissed cause my dr informed animal control.Sorry but if you own a dog it HAS to BY LAW have rabies shots. So if they got in trouble it was NOT my fault.

Personally...I thought that this page was for entertainment purposes, some of you have the notion that this is a public court to be used for your own personal attacks on people sharing a story.
Fuck you people who have nothing better to do over each story with a red marker making comments about "proper grammar", and those who get out a dictionary to quote off offenses and whether they are seriously injured or broke some statute.

This a website for adults, confessions, and entertainment. period

Oh, these confessions do not require absolution by you holier than thou assholes, they are for fun and to share experiences.
