My Wife's Cousin Joined Us As A Second Wife In Our Home

In 2015 my wife and I were headed for Hawaii. When we were there we saw these two women with five kids, under school age. They were talking and the kids were hanging all over both women. My wife approached them and asked if they were sisters to which they said no, they were wives. My wife interrogated them and came away that they were wives of a man and they had a small plantation in the interior of the island.

Fast forward to 2019. My wife's cousin, female, 31 was never married. My wife asked me if I would consider her as a wife in our house, like those women in Hawaii. After several conversations, including with her cousin, we all agreed to try. We had ground rules, roles, basically we overthought the whole thing. What mattered was how her cousin felt about it, not how we felt about it.

Her cousin agreed, but only after we agreed that the three of us would sleep together and sex would be something we shared together. That is, nothing was happening behind closed doors. We planned a honeymoon trip back to Hawaii and we consummated the union there. In spite of the stress of the Pandemic we kept our plan and both women became pregnant this year.

This is not a sex thing, it's accepting a new wife into the home. With all the headaches that go along with it. My wife's interest was sparked that afternoon six years ago. Her cousin is family, not a stranger. Convincing her cousin took months. Convincing her cousin to become pregnant required my wife agreeing to join her. Adding a person as a wife into our home only works if that person wants to be a wife, hook, line and sinker.

Hopefully, you have the finances to look after the children.
