I hate my fuckin' neighbors and wish they would die! I am normally a nice person but they have pushed me over the edge! My husband and I bought a half of twin home 6 years ago- brand new. The other side wasn't yet occupied. Well this guy moved in about 6-8 mos. later by himself & is in his early to mid 40's and mentioned to my husband he was divorced. So I was optimistic he would be a good neighbor. Don't remember how long after he moved in but we started hearing drum playing. Wasn't thrilled but it wasn't that often & he was hardly ever home (not sure what he did but seemed to be gone for weeks or days at a time & then home for long periods). Well the past few years he's home practically all the time & at the same time I stopped working to go to school FT. I go to college @ night & study during the day. Well this dumbass was playing his drums anywhere from 7 am til 11pm and for up to 5 hours at a time. I should also mention that I could hear him from EVERY room in my home & even outside! At 1st didn't want to confront him so I'd just bang on the wall and blast my stereo. Then finally last year I sat down & wrote him a very nice, professional note. He came to my door to talk to me about it & said "I didn't realize you could hear it". Hello??? How fuckin' dumb do you have to be to not realize that. This guy always looked like a big dumbass & I realized he is one! Well he still plays but he agreed to stick to certain hours. My whole thing is you shouldn't own a twin home if you own a drum set & the fucker has it set right in the corner of his basement that's closest to our house.

Then this fuckin' skanky whore bitch moves in w/ him 4 years ago. She's an "actress" yeah right!!!! She's done some off-broadway musicals & college films. So basically she's been doing some waitressing jobs - hello honey when you're 36 - I think it's time to give that dream up & get a real job! Anyway where do I begin w/ her. She's skinny but NOT pretty and just b/c you're skinny doesn't mean you don't have cellulite & I can see it hanging out of her short shorts. Then she's always conveniently outside prancing around in her outfits (well she only has 2) when my husband's outside. Him & I will both be outside & I'll go in and come back out and in the meantime she's come out & I'll say to my husband: what was she doin out here? & he's like nothing - she just opened her front door & looked at her plants for a few seconds & went back in (when I came out). Fucking psycho. She thinks she's hot shit and she's not. He can't stand her either - there's scenarios like this ALL the time.

Also this summer we got our landscaping professionally done & they were so jealous about it. Hinting around to see how much it cost? How many hrs. my husband had to work to pay for it? It's not my fault they're losers w/ unconventional jobs & wondering how two younger people could afford something like that. Well ever since then they've been either copying everything we do outside or trying to make improvements that they think will help their house look better than ours - but it doesn't but it's still VERY annoying.

She's is fuckin' psycho. this summer I was pulling weeds out of the cracks in the sidewalk & the curb and I was still out there & 5 minutes later she comes out & starts doing the SAME exact thing. My one friend said: what the fuck does she do sit in her house all day & watch you. She must! We painted the trim around our front door and a week later they did the exact same thing. Now it's fall and the bitch NEVER has decorated for fall the past 4 years she's lived here & all the sudden I started decorating for fall w/ mums, pumpkins, etc. well the next day she goes and gets 6 pumpkins. So I went out & got more decos for fall. They will NEVER be better than us so I don't know what she's trying to prove. But I'd really like to kick her skinny scrawny ass!

It's been really bad lately: she's copying everything. I had 2 snall scarecrow in my backyard flower bed so she got a small one for her backyard flower bed. Then I moved mine to the front b/c I 'm tired of her copying & I got a large scarecrow for the back. well she moved her large scarecrow that she had upfront to the back like mine!

Oh and after our landscaping was done we put landscaping lights up and the past few months I've realized that they keep their porchlight on all night everynight & now I realized why. Their porchlight cancels out our one landscaping light that's closest to their house.

Well that's all that's fresh in my mind right now. There's always so much that they do to piss me off I can't think of it all at once. I just wish they'd move but I don't think they can afford it. And my husband and I want to stay in this house long enough to be able to purchase our dream home and rent out this current one.

Sounds like you've got a real problem there, take an overdose, and tomorrow things will be ok.

your "problem" is that your neighbor has improved their landscaping (using plants that you like) & has decorated their house so that it looks nicely seasonal (using decorations that you like)? you need to remember that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery & get a great big ladder so that you can get over your insanely inflated ego/martyr complex. a neighbor pulling up weeds, in case you hadn't noticed, is a hell of a lot better than one who's doing something like sprayng Round Up on your prized roses or letting their pit bull out while your kids are playing outside.

geeze. get some perspective & stop thinking that every action is aimped directly at you and intentionally hostile. frankly, it sounds like the woman's trying to make friends with you -- although it sounds like you wouldn't be worth the trouble unless someone enjoys listening to another person bitch irrational complaints and imagined insuults.

Apparently the two of you do not know how to read!!!! I'm the one who spent the money on the nice landscaping and the nice seasonal decorations and the neighbor's the one who copied. Well you are obviously two very miserable people who can't understand anyone's problems but your own. You know - there are different degrees that people can and ARE allowed to be irritated & upset by. You can't judge me based on how I feel about a situation! I hope the next time you complain about something - you can't find a sympathetic shoulder!!!! At least I have other outlets - people here at home that see my point of view!!!

Get some Miracle Grow and use it to write obsence words on thier lawn. :) If they are dumb enough to use a hose to spray it off, it will just make it stand out that much more when it works on the plants. :)

Well I could see your point if it wasn't for your big wide ass.

I don't care if you see my point or not. You're probably working on how to score your next drugs and have nothing better to do than be an asshole and write idiotic responses to everyone on this board. I can always pick out your responses too b/c they're all around the same time of the morning & you're cocky to everyone! I realize w/ the other topics on this site there are bound to be some strange people on here so why don't you take it to another topic! This board is for people that have problems w/ their neighbors!!!!

I feel your pain. It sounds like we have the same type of neighbor. One that just gets under your skin and drives you nuts at every turn! I posted the "Skank" message. There is too much to write about with her. It's just EVERYTHING! It smay seem trivial to some, but when you have to put up with these assholes day after day, week after week - it just sucks.

Someone may not understand about her planting things, the weed pulling, the scarecrow, but I do. I know exactly how you feel. When I mention my neighbors name to people, they often say "you live near that wack job?" She's just not right in the head. I wish she'd move, but that's not going to happen. Either is yours. So here we are. Venting out into cyberspace. Hang in there and try your best to ignore her. Don't waste your energy on the likes of her, that's what they want. They want us to react to them.

When the going gets tough, the weird turn pro. Take care.

I really do feel sorry for your neighbors, as I've got one just like you.

I wish I could say I felt sorry for you, but you sound like such a stuck up, conformist, small minded woman that I just can't.
As another poster pointed out, you neighbor is flattering you by imitating you.
Does her house look worse that it did before she started to imitate yours?
Didn't the guy listen when you complained about his drum playing?

Read some of the other stories on this part of the site.
Most of the complainers have neighbors who couldn't care less that they are bothering others with their noise, the unmaintained properties, or their dogs.
YOUR neighbors have gone out of their ways to not be offensive to you.
It's clear that they are both of limited awareness and breeding, but their intentions are not at all harmful.

Why don't you try to be big about things and act a bit friendly.
Then they might take advice from you on how to decorate their property differently.

If not, then just move to a closed, gated community where everyone is just like you!
