Today, I was idly clicking around a real estate site and saw my neighbor's house had been listed yesterday!!! Yes!!! Dear God, please, PLEASE, let this be true and not some sort of a cruel mistake!!!

Bye bye nasty kids, we sure won't miss you!

It's a beautiful feeling when horrible neighbors move. I had a crazy woman with two insane teenage boys living next to me for eight horrible months. They built a giant house and stuffed it full of expensive crap. Couldn't pay the mortgage and out they had to go.
Our introduction to the teens came one night when they raced over and banged against the side of our house. My husband went outside to see what was going on and they just stared at him and laughed. The mother wouldn't come out to see what the fuss was about.
Before that, the day after they moved in, the police were over there. The woman was yelling and the teens were jumping around flashing gang signs. These are white kids in an upper middle class neighborhood. If they met any real gangsters they'd probably shit their Fubu jeans but there they were acting like morons.
A few months later, I heard yelling and I looked outside to see the mother beating one of the kids over the head with her fist. The kid was cowering and trying to get away. Apparently, he had damaged her SUV. i debated calling child welfare and then decided not to bother.
The kids broke bottles in the streets, vandalized road signs, hollered and swore whenever they saw an adult in a neighboring yard and in general acted like horses' asses. The day they moved was one of the happiest days of my life. I sincerely hope they move to some low-income apartment building where they will be terrorized by REAL gangstas, yo!
The new neighbors are nice people with two cute little kids. May your new neighbors be equally pleasant!

You are so lucky! I hope every day that a similar thing happens to us. The psycho next door needs to be pried from her house and transferred to a mental facility. Her family is just waiting for her to die so they can inherit her house and whatever money she hasn't spent. They don't want her spending their inheritance on things like psychiatrists, medications to stop the voices in her head or an institution that will keep her behavior in line. Instead, they foist her on the neighborhood where her twisted imagination goes wild. She accuses people of doing impossible things to her and she's so busy calling the police it's a wonder that they have time for real crime. The day she dies or is removed from her house will be a day that our neighborhood will throw a huge party.

Thank you all for your good thoughts. Unfortunately, horrible neighbors don't show any signs of moving, but they are alot quieter. At this point, I'm thankful for small miracles.
