Hi, I've posted before and find this outlet easier that screaming my head off in my house.
Thank you for having a place to vent.

I still live in this trashy neighboorhood. God 3/4 of the neighboorhood residents are drunks and partiers. I figured as an adult homeowner people could do better with their time than booze booze booze! Not in this neighboorhood everyone including the moms have a beer in their hand in the evenings and all weekend long.
What kind of shit hole looser neighboorhood do I live in?
Is it better anywhere else? Reading these posts make me think that most adults are just drunken bums no matter where I would move too.
What has happened to good old fashioned America where Men all have full time jobs and spend free time with their family doing fun family activities?

My children will never catch mommie or daddy walking around with a beer in their hand. I find spending my money of the kids or vacationing or even going to Chuckie Cheese for a night more exciting than sitting at home drinking a case of beer.

This one family who most of this complaining is about used to always whine about money problems (when we were friendly) and I don't know how many times I wanted to scream at her and say that if she didn't spend 15$ a day on a case of beer her and her family could enjoy time together instead of living such a boring, stupid drunken life.

If you notice the children of these beer drinking bums you will see that most of them have speach problems and hardly ever smile-its all because they have horrible lives with drunken looser parents and will continue the circle as they age too.

OH my I would love to turn them all into child service but it would just be spit into my face and we would fear for our lives. One drunk is even a police officer so complaining to anyone would get me nowhere anyway.

I look forward to the day when I see the neighbors sons name in the paper for drunk driving. ON that day I will rejoice outloud on the front porch for all to hear...
Yeah Ha, I might even throw a party that night!
LOL

Until that wonderful time I look forward to reading about in the next few years, we (all of us) will continue to work, enjoy life as a family unit, and not speak to anyone who is a drunken resident of this middle class neighboorhod. and pray that we can afford to move soon to a house in the middle of nowhere with NO neighbors.

I think the problem may be YOUR attitude. You can't wait until you read in the paper about someone drinking and driving? Grow up and get your own life, and stop worrying about everyone elses. What does it affect you if others are drinking in your neighbourhood? This is not a flame, It's advice, get over your own problems and maybe your neighbours won't seem so bad.

Worry about your own problems. So what, you have classless neighbors. Get you own life and stop worrying about theirs. You should feel bad for those kids.

It's one thing to drink socially, and another thing to drink yourself into a stupor each and every day, which I totally agree is wrong! However, the last time I checked, alcohol was legal for those over 21. If you don't drink, great, it's your choice. But some people like to have a few drinks on the weekend, and the truth is, it isn't your business. You come off a little uptight and self righeous, but hey, to each his own. To put it simply, if some raging alcoholic is neglecting his children, have the guts to report them! If not, keep to yourself and worry about your own family.
