Beauty And The Beast

I'm a model and have been for a while now. I'm not a virgin, but I'm not super experienced either. Everyone wants to know who my next partner will be and keep trying to get me into a relationship. They would try and hook me up with hot guys my age who were also models. Some of the male models who I've met with also try to flirt with me but I've always act disinterested. My parents are worried that a young and pretty girl hasn't gotten a boyfriend in a long time. They might be thinking that I'm a lesbian, since they dropped a few hints about encouraging me about whatever relationships I am personally okay with. My dad says that he's happy he doesn't have to swat boys away because I keep them away with a 10 feet stick but I know that he's worried about me.

I love my parents but they are a bit traditional. I've always been interested in older men. Like the older, fat, perverted and balding men. Kind of like my photographer who gropes me indecently when doing shoots and when my parents aren't around. I want him to take it further, touch me more and ask me out on a date. But I also don't want him to ask either, because I don't know what response I would give him. I'm afraid of dating him because of what others would think, including my friends and family. I'm also worried it would have a negative impact on my modelling career.

I've always thought of my situation as something like beauty and the beast, but I guess that it's only a movie and it's not real. I'm really torn on what I should do. I even pretended to date a guy my age a few years ago and it didn't work out. I dated him hoping that I would either lose interested in older men and that I could show others that I can be in a relationship. My parents and friends keep emcouraging me about not worrying over my breakup and I think that they are worried that breakup was extremely bad and that's why I haven't dated anyone else since. I'm worried that dating older men would break their trust and look at me with disgust.

What should I do?

Never worry about what other people think. That's principle number one. You must have principles in order to be a real, authentic person. Be true to yourself. Besides, think how blessed you can make one particular older man feel. Have a heart.

I dated a 6' long legged model for many years, so I have some background in my advice. Your future is not with an older, unattractive man. You may be smitten with him because he is near you a lot and is a safe distraction, but he is not your future. Find someone that is a nice guy, that adores you and treats you well. But, not someone who is on a lower level than you that you could dominate in a relationship. It doesnt have to be a model, just someone you are attracted to. And dont be surprised if you have to be the one initially showing interest. Most men assume that a gorgeous woman will shoot them down and reject them, and the ones who dont think that are usually full of themselves, and you dont want that. People assume if you are attractive you dont have some of the same problems finding someone kind, considerate, and romantic, but no matter what we all look like, its still a challenge finding the one. Good luck....
