This is such a common result. Humans aren't meant to stay together forever. Once it gets old you should bounce. Too bad that once you do, you have to pay because you have kids. I love my kids and have them 50/50 but I can't help but hate my ex every month when I have to pay $1k. As it went downhill after the kids and we weren't going out all the time having fun she turned off like a light switch. It was even worse once she figured out that she could an annuity to leave.
