Bi-Sexual Female / 22
Teenage Years Of Torment, High School Nude Fiasco, And How I Got Even.
When i was 13 and starting high school, i had a relationship with a boy who was one of those 'cool kids', i hung out with him since i figured he was cute... that, and the fact i made easy friends with the popular crowds just hanging out with him was a bonus.
Nothing much unusual, was pretty samey for three years, except i broke up with my boyfriend after he started doing illegal things, like substances, vandalism, theft, etc...
Well, wouldn't you know it, being his ex-girlfriend and having been the idiot i was, he had gotten a big collection of nudes over those three years. No surprise the sleaze shared -my- pictures, which begun to affect me soon as they were on either various sites or on everyone's phones.
People started immediately calling me a slut as soon as Halloween rolled around, got so bad I had a mental break down from stress...
At first, i swore i wasn't going to go to school, cutting classes and avoiding being seen anywhere the harpies from high school frequented... A friend of mine in my neighborhood, who went to an entirely different school, one i could trust... they already saw the photos, and picked up on my issues, and became something of my closest supporter in these time.
They encouraged me to not sit like a doormat and allow this to continue, he helped by being there for me, and slowly gave me a reason to live.
My friend, whom we shall call Eric, was a bit of a kickboxing expert at a local gym not far from where we lived. Now, i had always liked athletic things, but i had lost most of my usual activities in my long bout of chronic tardiness from school. Amazingly, no one from my school really frequented this gym, mostly it was older men and women, and none of whom had even seen my face... It was a place of peace in my need, and a place i built up my strength for revenge.
I couldn't stop going to school forever, but thankfully a week was enough time to get me hooked to kickboxing, and a reason to ignore my anguish from my pains involving the pictures that haunted me.
For months, things were relatively the same in school, but Eric kept on making sure i learned to be a fighter at the gym off-hours, guiding me along the way and getting me some decent friends that i could trust, and he paid all the gym expenses for me... the few that did know of my issue in my school were good shoulders to lean on, though most guys and gals were rather twice my age, but that didn't matter. They sure did a better job of being parents than my actual parents. (Whom i shall not elaborate upon...)
When school had stopped for the holidays, i had freedom to keep going to the gym full hours. I really got into the heavy things quick, was mostly lifting weights and slugging the old punching bags, and could easily whip the inexperienced boys, and became something of a whirlwind in speed training as Eric had called it.
Those were some intense months, and i'd never been so strong before... i could throw a good right hook, had a decent left jab, and knew how to one-two-kick quickly. Cannot say i was a master, but i was a lot tougher than most girls, and some guys.
Off-hours, i practiced shit-talking too, figuring i needed to be able to talk the talk and walk the walk to be ready to fend for myself.
After new years, when school started... I went right back into things, head high then i left, thanks to Eric.
Shit was rough, as people still remembered me and laughed... my ex that shared my nudes lead the one group of smug snakes that was laughing at me the moment i got back in. I sort of pretended to -act meek- and let them feel all happy i was their punching bag again, but when enough of a crowd gathered, i immediately aimed a taekwondo kick for his nuts, and sucker punched one of his other friends nearby.
That caused some shock and silence, as nobody thought i'd be willing to use violence...
After a higher kick aimed at my ex's head, and him falling back into some concrete (poor fucker!), i looked to the harpies that had mocked me, and said something roughly along the lines of: 'I'll bet it was funny! Probably to die for, right!? Well?! Isn't it worth a kick to the head?! NO?! Guess it wasn't that funny then, after all!"
Notably, I did get into some trouble, detention.. nearly expelled, but nobody really bothered me aloud again after that mess. Most kept their distance, others mocked me behind my back the rest of the year, but it paved way to reinventing myself. Finally recovered from the whole thing the next year in, or rather... the final year of high school, and was rather known in the athletic crowd as i kept training up.
It helps i beat up most people that did dare to speak up mocking me, but that wasn't too many people... like could count them on two hands.
I'm just lucky i didn't go to juvie or something the whole time back then, but oh well...
I left that dump of a town for college elsewhere when i turned 18, which was 4 years ago. Mostly on athletic scholarship. It's rough, with the transgender people in female's sports, but i've been able to adapt somewhat, though most of that stuff hasn't taken affect here, yet.
My now-current boyfriend Eric joined me in this college as well, and we're living together in a shared paid apartment off campus. I love him, and owe him my life, since he probably stopped me from committing suicide or ruining my whole future. We both frequent the sports activities in the areas. I recently got into tennis, and my man's taken a liking to it as well. Happy days.
Meanwhile, everyone i knew seems like a jobless deadbeat back home. Glad we didn't end up like those losers.
