This week marks my one year anniversary of wearing only panties. The first day of summer 2006 I finally got up the nerve and tossed my last few pairs of men's boxers in the trash. I've been in panties full-time every day since then. Because I'm very closeted about this, no one knows about my preference for women's undies. This is the only place I can tell the world.

My first 365 solid days in panties have taught me a few things. 1. No matter how much of a turn on they might be, thongs and little bikini panties are not comfortable for long-term wear (at least not if you have male "equipment"). 2. I hate to say it, but I actually prefer "granny panties" full brief nylon panties are the most comfortable undies, for my money. Cotillion briefs and Bali Skimp-Skamp/Lacy Skamp panties make up 90% of what I wear now. 3. Wearing panties every day unfortunately eliminates a lot of the "thrill" factor. After a while, you really do forget that you're wearing ladies underwear and they just become "normal". Of course, I do still get turned on by the thought of being a 35 year old man with a full panty-drawer in my dresser, and no men's underwear in the house at all.

Do you live alone? Or do you have a wife or girlfriend?
If you do, surely they will catch you sooner or later.

I do live alone, and I do date women. Since I made the switch in fact, I've gone out with two women. The first I only went out with a few times. We did kiss, and I was very close to telling her (because I thought I should tell her before she found out the old fashioned way), but even by then I knew that she wasn't really someone I wanted to be with long-term, and it never went further than that.

The thing about this full-time panty situation, which I admit is kind of a drawback, is that it forces me to make a decision early in a relationship. Is this woman someone I feel like I can be with seriously enough to tell her about my little "quirk"? Also, it carries the risk that someone I might otherwise have a relationship with will choose to cut and run once she finds out that I wear prettier undies than she does.

So far, no one has made the cut. But I do consider the other possibility you brought up, which is that someone might "catch" me. That's actually happened several times already, always with strangers though.

Women's full brief panties aren't made for a man's figure. They fit around the navel rather than the waist, so when you wear them with men's pants, the waistband tends to poke out the back, especially when you bend down. I try to scrunch them down most of the time, or wear a shirt long enough to cover them, but it doesn't always work. Several times in the last year (and before, when I wore panties a lot but not permanently) I've been browsing in a store, and I've knelt down or bent over to reach a low shelf and inadvertently exposed the waistband of my panties. I did that once in a Barnes & Noble without really realizing it, and gave the older couple browsing the magazine rack next to me a full view of baby blue nylon and lace. I was so embarrassed I turned red, started sweating and had to leave the store.
