When Life Gives You A Lemon Make Lemonade And Quit Bitching

I became pregnant at 21 during my last semester at college. We got married before my belly would be the center of attention. All in all my pregnancy was uneventful and barely an inconvenience, I delivered with minimal discomfort. When I tell this to other women they go on and on about how it ruined their body, how uncomfortable and painful, and their lives were derailed by having children. Truthfully I can't relate, I wouldn't trade my children, my life for anything.

I was a somewhat reticent sex partner, it took a long time to become comfortable. It struck me, more than anything, my husband deserved a whole woman. Over the years I became aware of sexual pleasure, of giving sex to my husband. Pleasure is in part being his pleasure. If not what's the difference with masturbation?

When I got married I knew the basics of housekeeping, very little experience with cooking. I learned, my husband loves my cooking and kids invite their friends for a home cooked meal. My house is Thanksgiving, we have the space and I don't mind cooking. The bigger the crowd the better.

We go to church on Sunday, the girls do ballet and tumbling. Our son is in scouts, the big brother. Dad, Mom, and three kids make up our family. I will turn 35 this month. My husband's g*ft is a trip to Italy. I support but feel sorry for women turning forty, alone and without a family. I'm thankful I screwed up and got pregnant.
