My Job Is Recruiting Dancers For Men's Clubs
In 1996 I was graduating from high school. I wanted to go to college but my family couldn't help me. My path was a job at Safeway where my mother worked. A friend of told me she heard of this man who gave scholarships to good deserving students. I called and asked if I could see him. His secretary said that counselors usually suggested deserving students.
After a day I went to his office. I wasn't able to see him and dejected I went to work at Safeway. A year later, I was an afternoon cashier then I got a call from the man's secretary. She asked me to come downtown. I had an interview, not for a scholarship but for a job. Everyone told me to take the job. It became obvious after a few days that I was hired for something else.
One of the businesses he had involved girls. My job was to recruit them. He owned a chain of gentlemen's clubs and the clientele wanted college girls. I worked with counselors and I got referrals. For sure every girl was legal. There never was a college scholarship, that was a cover for recruiting high school graduates.
It was clear I was not dancer material, but I had an eye for it. For a lot of years I've recruited and interviewed dancers for the clubs. And that friend of mine, the one that told me about the scholarships was a dancer. I made more money than I could at Safeway. I've seen so many girls now, all interviewing for the job of their life, their five year goal is getting breast implants.
At least my business card says Human Resources. Men shouldn't worry, there's more than enough real girls out there, they just need to know where to look, and it's not teachers.
