Too Early To Shave?

My daughter just turned 11-years old and she wants to try gymnastics. The female coach has informed me that due to the cut of their uni's all the girls must shave any exposed pubic hair. I told her that I didn't think that was a problem yet.

When we got home I mentioned this to my daughter and asked her if she had pubic hair. I was surprised when she told me that she did. I asked her to show me. When she pulled down her jeans and panties I was totally surprised to discover that her mound was covered by dark hair.

i really didn't know what to say other than we would have to shave some of the hair if she wanted to join the team. She said yes, so I got my razor and proceeded to show her how to shave the appropriate areas.

Have any of you ladies had a similar situation?
