My World Is Coming To An End

My story is bizarre but sadly true. I’ve been married to the woman of my dreams for a decade. We have two wonderful daughters and had a great life together. However, a couple of years ago, I became suspicious that my wife was having an affair.

My suspicions started when my wife said she was visiting a friend one evening who subsequently rang wanting to speak to my wife; when home she explained that when driving to see her friend, she had popped in to see her father and stayed there instead. Her father later inadvertently confirmed this.

Several months later she came home drunk from a night out with work, I undressed her, and her panties were full of a substance I suspected was sperm. I kept the panties and got a testing kit from the internet; the black spots confirmed my suspicions. I was gutted.

I hired a private investigator, who, for several months, turned up nothing. She went to work, went shopping, had coffee with female friends and visited her father. I spent ten thousand dollars to discover nothing. I put it down to a one-night stand, and as I once strayed on a sales conference early in my marriage, I decided to let it go.

Two months ago, my world was shattered. The private investigator contacted me again. I had dispensed with his services, so I was surprised to hear from him again. During the conversation, he explained that he had been working for another client and had seen my wife and her father in a restaurant. I remember thinking, “So what” He said that he had seen her passionately kissing her father in the car park. They both left in separate cars. I called him a “sick bastard” and hung up. Two days later, I thought better of it and rang him back, agreeing to more surveillance. My head was all over the place, she was close to her father, but I couldn’t believe it was more than just a close father-daughter relationship.

Last month the PI gave me both photographic and video evidence that my wife is having a sexual relationship with her father; there is absolutely no doubt about it. I threw up, cried, and got angry.

I still haven’t confronted her. Our life hasn’t changed, although having sex with her did take on a new dynamic. I’m sure the relationship with her father has been going on throughout our marriage. There were tell-tale signs I had missed, but now they made sense. I love her, and this seems unreal. Stuff like this doesn’t happen to normal families like us. I know I’m in denial, but I have no clue what to do. I think of my daughters, and it turns my stomach the thought of doing anything sexual with them. How could he do that to his daughter, and how could she do that with her father? It’s all horrible and gross.

I suspect I will have to leave her, but that would mean leaving my daughters with a sexual deviant; men always lose out in a divorce, and we become monsters. I’m so confused.

Try taking in safe space. Maybe therapy. Set ground rules. Only then decide.

How sure are you that your daughters are yours and not the result of her daddy loading her up with cum on some night away from the house?

I'm sorry to read this. You will first need to decide how you want this all to end. You are correct, this has probably been going on since before you were married. Maybe into her teens or earlier. So, stopping the affair will not be easy. Can you live with sharing her with your FIL? Because I doubt that being confronted will immediately make it end; as she probably is a willing participant.
But, first things first. Have YOUR parents watch the kids for a weekend and take the wife somewhere. The city, beach or mountains, it doesn't matter. You need the separation to confront her with what you know. Bring your evidence but only use it if see denies involvement.
As I previously mentioned; you have a lot of thinking to do! You also may want to squirrel some money away for a lawyer. Best of luck!

You need to get your shit together before you confront her IF you are planning on ending things. Get a separate secret bank account and start saving, Get a plan on where you are going to stay assuming you might have to leave as soon as you tell her. Get a good lawyer. Collect evidence to be 100% sure. Good luck.

Unfortunately, you will have to do a DNA test to confirm that your daughters are biologically yours.
Afterwards, you will have to confront both of them and tell them their unfiltered truths.
Finally, divorce that woman, without having to give her anything in return and if everything goes well with the paternity test, put a clause in the divorce contract that your daughters cannot be around one of that guy they call grandpa.
Good luck and good cheer.

Don’t start saving money away secretly. In a divorce case the judge won’t like that. Consult with a lawyer before doing anything

This is a difficult and disappointing situation, but don't go in with the idea that divorce is the only way out. Did you say you love her? Is she a good wife? Do you generally have a good family life? If you answer YES to all 3, then I suggest you look for another way other than divorce to handle the situation. Take this as a test of your maturity. Don't get a lawyer involved since it will lead to divorce (what I consider the macho approach). I'm sure you'll agree that she's not planning to run away and marry her father. Talk to a therapist and talk to your wife and her father. Make sure your girls have not been abused by him. The shame of exposing their relationship is enough to get them to stop so that you can resume your normal family life. Good luck.

Unless your story is fictional ...
First, do a DNA test for your child.
Most likely i****t between a father and daughter in your country (or in the state) is a criminal offense. Report them to the police, they will be put behind bars, and you will definitely get full custody.
