I Gave Her Permission
I have been married 43 years to the same person. Tempted many times through the years but have been faithful and gave more effort than my share in my marriage. I love my job and plan to work a little longer.
My wife and I had a shotgun wedding had a son and 2 years later a daughter. We had children young and my wife finished college after giving birth to our children. Our parents helped during these years. I had early in and early out job so the children responsibility’s were performed by me. I told her she had little to do with raising our kids who had little to do with her. She wasn’t even a normal grandparent. I expressed I hadn’t had a wife for two decades.
