Open Letter To LGBTQ Etc Activists, You Are The Problem Not A Solution
I'm female, born gay, so lesbian. In my world that was a problem I projected with family, friends snd society. They are supportive, like having cancer, but sure wish it wasn't true. I came out in college, but not a surprise to anybody. I chose, of my free will to marry into a straight world. Be a man's wife.
I struggle between my duties to my marriage and passing fancies. I struggle with my truth. I chose after a time, not to hide behind my marriage. I am a lesbian, what of it? Is it different than being an athlete or a bookworm, Lutheran or a Catholic? No, it's the same.
My life is a good life, devoid of the drama foisted on gays by self centered activists. Why they do that? I have my opinion, but others have to open their eyes to it. It hurts gays and lesbians, it never makes their lives better. I have never experienced marginalization, like I said I came out in college. Not from work, or friends, or strangers. Being a lesbian, or tall or short, it is how YOU interact with your friends and neighbors, and strangers.
I've said my piece, now leave us alone. Go be miserable together, we don't want to join your misery party.
