What he is really asking is "Aren't you having fun to?"
You need to understand that he has probably formed his idea of what sex should be like from seeing porno, where the women are always very vocal. So if you are being very quiet, he is probably feeling a bit insecure. You don't have to sound like a porn star, but a saying few "yes", "oh yeah", "that feels good" during sex will make him feel good.
Say these things especially when he does things you like, and he will do them more often.

I agree, too, but want to expand it by saying that your enjoyment does not need to be vocalized, if that's just not you. He is looking for feedback, which I can certainly understand. Vocalizing is great, but so is writhing, or gripping, or grasping (or gasping), or scratching ... something to let him know that you're enjoying it.
