A Personal Experience

I was invited to a group discussion on how to be better to yourself. A colleague. The room had some ten women, and all were lesbians. I found out my colleague was lesbian. I thought it a bit strange that an older toxic male would be of interest to them.

Well, it came down to this. They needed a father's view, in their world fathers are missing. I was straight forward and told them that they needed to take a hard look in the mirror. That person they could fix, but not the person beside them. Quit trying.

The session, or conversation, lasted well over an hour. And during that hour there were some surprising admissions. I walked way with one thought, lonely for paternal guidance.
