I'm a 40 year old male and I know better. I was in one of those costume jewelry stores looking over some earrings and anklets for my daughter. The two young girls working the store seemed pretty spacey and I didn't think they were looking so I slipped an anklet in my pocket. As I walked out of the store, they both confronted me outside the store and asked me to come back inside to discuss what I had taken. I gave them the anklet out of my pocket. I then was going to leave and they said that I needed to stay while they fill out some paperwork. They escorted me to the back room and filled out a shoplifting report! They detained me and called the police. It took 30 minutes for the cops to get there!
