Homosexual Tension

I’m bi and was divorced 5 years ago. Not long after divorce I had traveled to Providence RI to attend my niece’s college graduation. I checked into my air bnb and it was before dinner time but not before cocktail hour. I did some quick research and found a place that got good reviews and was walkable. As it turns out, although I didn’t realize it or plan it, the place was in a sort of gay oriented neighborhood. The pub I picked was not a gay bar, per se, but had the vibe and I liked it.

I sat at the bar and the bartender took my order quickly with some friendly chat and a smile. I was walking so ordered a double vodka tonic, with lime naturally. It wasn’t long before a man sat down next to me at the bar and we struck up a conversation. He was married but made it clear he enjoyed men too. We were both pretty clear with each other about our bisexuality early on.

He could not bring me home for obvious reasons and my air bnb was just a room in a very small house with a no guest rule. He had also walked, so no car.

So we spent a very enjoyable time over a few drinks and dinner sort of verbally making love. We told each other of our exploits and of what we would do to each other. The sexual tension built and was intense and enjoyable.

We left and I went home and stroked out an enormous load.

Pre pandemic there were a few places in Providence where you could have gone and enjoyed yourself. There were at least two bathhouses, one in the downtown neighborhood probably not far from where you were and the cost of a few hours in a private "dressing room" would not have been very high. You'd have had the opportunity to do what you want with each other and nobody would care. That one has since shut down but there is another one a bit further away. If you are in Providence again check them out. I don't necessarily recommend unprotected sex or going there for a pick up but two men going together it can be cheaper than a hotel room and definitely a gay vibe and completely non judgmental.
