Yes I'm Crazy, But I'm Not. I Am Blessed, Not Burdened.

I am 61 years old now. Back when I was 37, with no kids of my own, my husband got a girl pregnant in his office. She was 22 at the time, very conservative religious girl, who lived in what to me appeared to be an psychologically abusive environment. She was living with an aunt, twice removed, in a small apartment. This aunt was a born again lesbian, and surrounded herself with very unsavory souls. He found her, those were his words, and took her under his wing. She followed like a lost duckling and he took her home after work one evening when the aunt wasn't home and took full advantage of her.

She clung to him after that night. As she came to realize she was pregnant, her aunt insisted on terminating the pregnancy and that is when she ran away to a coworker's couch and that coworker is the one that informed my husband. My husband turned the 'problem' over to me. That is when I found out.

I did the Christian thing, love her in spite of the circumstances. She needed a loving home to care for her unborn child and a loving home to bring the child into this world. If ever I was called to act, and not react, it was then. I brought her into our home, for my husband to be her father figure, and if he so desired to be her husband figure as well. When she was cuddled up with him it always brought a smile to my face, she had found a home with a loving man to look after her. She was so affectionate towards him, so in love with her child developing inside of her, I could not resist falling in love with her myself. By the time I was in love with her I wanted her to be in love with him and for him to love her back just as much. I got so much pleasure when they coupled together.

With the birth of the child, we stood by her and offered to adopt the child into our family to ensure its wellbeing. Or, we would just adopt her into our family and that way we could ensure her wellbeing. As soon as she was able my husband coupled with her again and she became pregnant with second child soon after the first was born. She would have Irish twins, if I counted correctly. I loved her then ten times more. She was there to bring life into our home. A baby in arms and another one on the way, my heart sang for her.

She responded in our home, over the following years she had two more children, filling our home with the sounds that had not been there. I considered her both a younger sister or a daughter and loved to see how my husband loved her too. The more they coupled the better as far as I was concerned. She needed to keep herself for him and never wander.

So I come back to the fact that now I am 61, my husband is 70 and she is in her mid forties, with four children, the two older children in college and younger two at home. Now I feel like their grandmother, I spoil them no end. As to her, I love her today in ways I never knew love could go. She is a grown woman, she stayed home with the children until they were in school before looking for work outside the home. We never needed her to work, but I understood the need for her mental health, an environment where a crazy lady didn't rule.

I see her tend to my husband, so soft, so tender. He is so young for his age because of her. If ever there was a time that I doubted him, I hold back those tears. He brought me this woman, and she brought love into our empty home.
