I Just Want Him

I’m a thirty seven year old who’s due to get married this summer. My fiancé and I met four years ago and have been engaged for two.

My best friend Grace and I have known each other since childhood but lately haven’t spent so much time together. We are both busy but partly it’s me because whilst I love spending time with her I’m more reluctant to spend time as couples like we used to.

That’s because three years ago I had an affair with her husband. It lasted six months before we broke it off, wrecked with guilt.

It started one night at a mutual friend’s party, which because my fiancé was away for work I was going with the two of them. When I got to their place my friend was ill but told her husband and I to go and have a good time. We had some drinks, danced a little and talked. Looks got longer and by the time we were in the cab home we were kissing. For six months I loved being with him, was miserable when I didn’t see him and then horrified every time I thought of what we were doing to my friend.

Friday I turned up to collect her for a girls spa day and he was there. We hadn’t seen each other for weeks and as we hugged it all just came flooding back. I spent the day laying back thinking about how good it felt to be in his arms and how my fiancé just doesn’t compare.

I want my friends husband. I know it’s wrong and can’t happen but this weekend I’ve decided to call the wedding off. I can’t stand there when the man of my dreams is right behind me watching…

You think you're doing the right thing by canceling your wedding, but this amounts to cutting off your nose to spite your face.

When you're involved with a friend's husband, the thing to do is go all-in on your relationship with your friend.

Marrying your fiancé would give you the cover you need. You and your husband could plausibly go on double dates with your friend and her husband (your real love). By deepening your relationship with your friend, you could make it seem normal for you to be at her house, and for she and her husband to be at your house.

Let's say you make plans with her but you arrive early, and only her husband is home. You can have a quick fuck, and when she comes home, she won't find it unusual for you to be there, because you are her close friend.

Similarly, let's say her husband comes to visit you while yours is out. You have a passionate fuck with the man you love. You head your husband's car in the driveway. You compose yourselves, and it seems totally normal to your husband that your best friend's husband is in your house. You and your best friend's husband then leave to pick up your friend and have dinner.

A lot of people marry for cover, then set up their lives to allow access to their true loves.

Also remember that true friends want each other to be happy. If she ever does catch you with her husband, you can say this, and you'll find out what kind of friend she is.

Just tell your friend you're 'envious' of her, and say you have a crush on her husband. She'll either show interest, and you have your 'in', or she'll push back, and you know that it's not an option.
My fiancé is very open, and will and does allow her friends to fuck me if and when they want, and I'm the same with her. Maybe it's the start of a even better friendship?

Quite a dilemma , If you have a thing for your friends husband , is she a friend? when i was growing up that was the ultimate betrayal , but it seems the world has forgot about such things , perhaps we live in a society where it does not matter anymore, whatever your choice good luck
