Maybe Wrong Gender

Being an older adult male I have always been insecure, and have lack of confidence with regards to women, I'm very short 5' 2" and women don't see me as any kind of a romantic partner, I do have women friends but, when we get together it's more like I'm one of the girls. This leads to my dilemma for the past few years I have been fantasizing about being a woman I have been having dreams about meeting a man and falling in love, I know this must sound strange, as a man in my current form that would make me gay but that's not the way I see myself. and do not know if I found myself attracted to a man if I could approach him. I find it easier to talk to women. But when with them I am more interested in fitting in, men are intimidating to me not in a bad way but because I feel I don't measure up.
