It Seemed Like A Good Idea, But Ended Up A Disaster

A little over a year ago I was laid off from the job I’d been working for almost six years due to a downturn in their business.
I had a small savings which I used to make my rent and groceries but little else for a couple of months while looking for a new job but hadn’t found anything.
One day I ran into an old high school classmate while grocery shopping and we started a conversation leading to me telling her my situation.
She told me she had a job paying her between 3-4 thousand a month and could get me on if I’d be interested.
When I inquired as to what she was doing she told me she was working as an escort three weeks a month 2-3 days a week.
I was almost out of savings so after some serious thing I decided to give it a try based on her telling me they only saw professional type clients.
I’ve been sexually active since my freshman year of high school using condoms with no problems so I wasn’t on birth control
I made great money my first three months then my period was late at the end of that month. I had been late a few times before and there hadn’t been any accidents so I didn’t get worried until I was over a week late. I had never been that late so I took my very first pregnancy test and I had gotten pregnant somehow.
Needless to say that ended my great paying job and I had to use some of my last pay for an abortion.
