So, How Has Anything Been My Choice

Choice. Do you really have a choice? First I didn't choose where I was born, aka citizenship, when I was born, aka age and time in history, my parents, aka DNA, family, sex, aka female. Also I didn't choose where I went to school, church, organizations, friends. Basically I didn't choose.

My family, and religion, places a high value on marriage, aka servitude to a male and my body being used for his pleasure and procreation. Straight marriage. Consummated marriage.

I finished college as expected, aka it was my family's choice, and got a job not to their liking, aka not next door to them. I chose poorly, a close, intimate relationship with another girl.

Now I'm staring down the barrel of an unwelcome marriage to a forty seven year old widower with two teen age girls. He has made it clear that being 'young and fertile' he wants me to get pregnant and have a couple of kids quickly, I don't have much choice. If I don't choose this opportunity, I'm cut off permanently, forfeit my inheritance and access to my trust fund. I have a clause about a college degree, marriage and children before I'm 27, aka five years after I finish college.

Just a little incentive to walk the straight and narrow.

I note here, males have until they are thirty to present college credentials, nuptials and a birth certificate.

I am getting married next Saturday. I'll be pregnant and deliver within ten months, that's my deadline.

Deal the hand dealt and stop whining. You always have a choice. It may not be rainbows and puppies but Free Will is alive and well. (Good points on no choice before being an adult)
