Not What I Had Intended

My husband and I have been married for 20 years with two children. We married young I was 20 and he was 21.
About a year and an half ago he had an affair with a younger married coworker where he works. He didn’t try to hide it and we have stayed together working things out.
When I found out about what was going on I decided to have a fling of my own. He never expected I was doing anything because I was very careful not to see anyone he would suspect..
The guy I’ve been seeing is a younger guy who is a representative for a company that calls on my boss where I work. We only see each other when he’s in town. I meet him for a quick lunch then to the motel where he stays so everything takes place during the day which avoids my husband having in a suspicion. A few weeks ago we had an accident when the condom he was using broke. My husband and I also use condoms for birth control but have not had any accidents. When my period was due I didn’t have it so I took a pregnancy test confirming I was pregnant.
After some thought I told my husband I was pregnant with him immediately asking how that had happened. I told him I knew exactly when and how it happened telling him I wanted to have an abortion. He never questioned anything but I’m sure he knows it was someone else who got me pregnant because he has been very distant since.

Abortion is the easy way out. If you were seeing the young guy on a regular basis and you weren’t on birth control depending on condoms was a chance you were taking. Yes, the probability.that it’s his are in his favor since the condom broke but you can’t be one hundred percent sure. You should have the baby then have a paternity test. If it turns out it’s his you and your husband can make the decision to keep it or put it up for adoption. That’s taking responsibility for your actions not the easy way out.

^ some people cant take accountability for their actions. Ima a liberal but i believe only in circumstances of r**e, medical issues where the mother could die ect are reasons to have an abortion. Too many times the girl gets an abortion when the dad would have been a single father no problem without the mom ridding her of the responsibility. I know bc its happened to me and a few different guys i knew. Girl had an abortion without telling the father and he would have been a single father no problem. Its the women's body but it should also be the mans choice as well. It takes two to tango.

Or like you said just give it up for adoption. So many people cant have kids but would be great parents
