i completly agree with the other poster, go for the career. if he has a problem with that then you have a problem with him and that problem is that isn't the one for you. look, i'm a guy and i want the woman i'm with to do what makes her happy and i would support her in whatever she wants to do, thats what real men do, so if he's a man, he'll support you or you need to move on
It depends on the career and the man.
If your career is being a waitress at Hooters or the local gin joint and your really fantastic boyfriend who babysits your four kids and got your mom into rehab wants you to quit and go back to school so he's willing to pay your bills, I'd go for the man.
