Depends on what you mean. Some people say the cherry isn't really popped until they actually have intercourse, the "cherry" being something symbolic. Some say the cherry is popped when the hymen is gone or has been breached, regardless of intercourse. In this case, the "cherry" is something physical.
If your cherry is symbolic, then you have to have sex. If it is physical, then masturbation can do that.
what exactly is it to *pop your cherry*? is it just when you lose your virginity? or someting else?
That's a term people use when you lose you're virginity, but the part that's referred to as "the cherry" is actually called the Hymen. It can "pop" or break at the loss of your virginity, but many woman's Hymens can "pop" before you even have sex. It can break from just about anything...
fingering yourself or being fingered by another, some kind of sugery or cervical biopsy, things of that nature - I even heard that alot of excersing and athletics can do this (not sure how), but you probably get the point.. it's anything that will reach up inside the vagina. If you bleed when you have sex for the first time, then odds are your "cherry" or Hymen is broken or "popped" at that time. If you do not bleed, odds are it's already been broken by something else, like the things I listed above. I hope this helps answer your question.
thanks, that answered it
Glad I can help honey!!
