I'm 14 and I rarely use tampons because I find them uncomfortable. However, I was swimming at a friend's house while on my period so I felt I had no choice but to wear one. When I was finished swimming, I couldn't pull it out. It felt like something was blocking it, but I thought it just wasn't saturated and left it for a few more hours. It got saturated and began leaking, but it still wouldn't budge. When I got home from my friend's house, I had my mom try to get it because she could see it, but when she pulled, it was extremely painful. I finally got it out, but I was confused as to why it felt obstructed coming out and why it was painful. When I was 12, I wore tampons for a while and had no trouble getting them out, even though they were uncomfortable. I am a virgin so I'm not very stretched out down there yet, but it was a slender tampon so it shouldn't have been so painful. The only difference is I started masturbating when I was 13 and this was the first time I had worn a tampon since masturbating. Do you think I tore the walls of my vagina while masturbating somehow? Or is there another explanation?
