I'm 39 years old and I have nothing to show for it. My husband has been out of work for over a year. I have a professional position that pays well, but we are in massive debt, in part due to him being out of work. I have been very supportive and encourage him in finding work. I'm getting really annoyed with his negative attitude and he always has an excuse why a job posting won't work for him. I believe his attitude is preventing him from finding work. I'm losing respect for him and my attraction is dwindling. I love him very much, but what if my patience runs out????????

Don't be so hard on yourself nor on him. I'm sure there must be a reason. I know of a simular case. The husband was run over by a car when he was just a kid. He recovered greatly, or at least we thought, until now, he has seizures, not bad, but bad enough to knock him out for a few moments. Doctors know this and are required to report it. Therefore he cannot get nor hold a job until he can prove it's been more than 90 days since his last seizure and he is cured. Makes sense because we'd hate to see him hurt himself and.or someone else.
Is your husband in the same situation but hesitant to tell you? Have a serious talk with his. Let him know you are concerned but at the same time you love him and want the best.

Women like you demanded to be in the workforce. You even have a great job. That's a major part of the reason so many men can't find work anymore. Next time you get mad at him, look in the mirror, think about your female co-workers and shove it up your ass. You wanted equality, you got it.
