Just your dreams are dead. When you wish on a star, you wish upon energy that is coming to you from billions of light years away. The energy IS real and that is what you are wishing on--or in other words--you are admitting to yourself the desire for that thing to happen.
Too bad you are so cynical. When your dreams die, you heart turns cold like the dead star who's energy wishers use to be inspired.
