She was ok for about the first year, then she became pregnant. She's only about 23 yrs. old and thinks she knows it all. (examples, telling me how to take care of my kid when I didn't even ask for her advice, how much I weighed/lossed lbs etc.) I usually just overlooked her comments. I tried to be friendly esp. with her husband away in the military. Well she really pissed me off one day. I told her about a child sex offender on our block. I only did it to protect her child because he started walking to work past our houses. I asked her not to spread it around because I didn't know if he was convicted yet and he was moving anyway in a month or so. (No other kids to worry about on the block) She thanked me for telling her and said the sex offender kid gave her the creeps anyway. Well, for two days things were peaceful and quiet. Then she came over to my house and DEMANDED to know how I knew and who told me this information. I told her it was none of her business. Then she accused me of starting a rumor mill and she didn't want any part of it. I told her we weren't in high school anymore and I have no reason to start rumors! She said she scoured the internet trying to find out about this guy and could not find any information on him. I told her it was because the sex offender was under 18 yrs old and they wouldn't post that info on the net and I didn't know if he was convicted yet! She proceeded to tell me that she only works with FACTS AND FIGURES and this was not computing with her. Well I find that funny because a few days before she told me the sex offender gave her the creeps. Sounds like an emotional response to me!?! Anyway I always ignore her when she is outside or go inside whatever I can do to be away from her. I can't stand her the sucky thing is our daughters are close in age. I will just have to keep my daughter away.
