Wanting To Get Even Backfired

A little over a year ago I found out my husband had cheated on me with a younger coworker of his. At first I forgave him but it was always in the back of my mind.
I leaned on my boss for support which finally led to me sleeping with him just one time for revenge. Unfortunately, that one time resulted in me getting pregnant. My husband and I had not been intimate during the time so there was no doubt who the father was.
I had no choice but to confess to my husband that I had cheated.
He was devastated because I had not at least taken precautions to avoid the situation. I was just off my period three days when I slept with my boss so I thought it would be safe so I didn’t ask him to use a condom because I wanted to fully cheat.
My boss paid for me to have an abortion but my husband couldn’t forgive me for being irresponsible and we separated.
