Im sorry but this is a stupid question. It can easily be answered by common sense and a basic knowledge of biology.
A womans uterus is acidic, thats why it kills all the sperm, which is alkali. You need to be worried about STDs, not acid.
To the person that called the question stupid: First of all, anybody can get STD's married or single, especially when your a couple planning a child for example; anything is possible these days. So why did you reprimand her with STD? That was not the question she asked. She is obviously young, It seems she was just asking a general question and you took it far out of context.
To original poster: I have been married 2x and in my experience, I sometimes get up and wash up or I fall asleep in my husbands arms. Its a personal preference.
PS... you sound like a stupid man being defensive about your stupid sperms.
Since the man's semen cannot get into your uterus, you needn't worry about it. Even when you get pregnant, it's just the man's sperm that can get into your uterus, not the semen.
If the man's semen got into your uterus, you'd know it! You'd have a lot of pain and cramps. This is what happened to the women when they first tried assisted fertilization by putting the man's semen into a woman's uterus. Since then, they wash the sperm removing the semen before they put it into the uterus.
I guess the question is can the man's semen be bad for your vagina and cervix. But really millions of years of evolution sort of implies that it isn't.
Make sure you pee after to clear your urethra from possible infection
